Ayurveda Week RECAP: A Living Experience of Authentic Ayurveda in Switzerland

Ayurveda Week was a special moment to bring people together around authentic Ayurveda — grounded in the classical texts and applied to real life and clinical practice.

This event was created as a space for deep understanding, practical application, and genuine connection. It was an honor to host it together with Dr. Gaurav Davee, a 5th-generation Ayurvedic physician from India, whose teaching is firmly rooted in the Samhitas and a living clinical tradition.

From 4 to 12 November 2025, we hosted a very special Ayurveda Week in Zurich and Rapperswil, including public lectures, consultations, and advanced training for therapists.

A Week of Connection, Learning, and Practice

Throughout the week, we welcomed:

• Members of the general public discovering Ayurveda more deeply

• Therapists seeking clarity and confidence in their practice

• Individuals coming for consultations, ready to understand their health from a new perspective

Therapists’ Feedback

One of the strongest impressions shared by therapists was not that the topic was new —but that the depth and clarity coming directly from the classical texts opened new perspectives.

Many expressed how studying Agni in this way:

• Changed how they observe patients

• Brought more confidence to clinical decisions

• Helped them connect symptoms to causes more clearly

• Made their practice feel more grounded and complete

Consultations: Ayurveda in Action

During Ayurveda Week, we also held two full days of individual consultations.

These sessions allowed Agni chikitsa to be applied in a very practical and personal way — mainly through diet, routine, and lifestyle guidance.

Several clients shared improvements in:

• Digestion

• Energy levels

• Sleep

• Overall sense of balance

Often with very simple, precise adjustments — reminding us how powerful Ayurveda can be when applied correctly.

Looking Ahead

The depth of interest, questions, and engagement throughout the week made one thing clear:there is a strong desire in Europe for serious, classical, and clinically applicable Ayurvedic education.

We are therefore looking forward to hosting the next Ayurveda Week in June 2026.

• Strengthening one of the most essential clinical skills in Ayurveda
